You’re handy. You’re motivated. You’re strong as an ox, but --
“I don’t know anything about landscaping!” you say. That’s OK.
What you need is a plan.
I have worked with dozens of do-it-yourselfers such as you. With a garden
consultation and a simple sketch made right then or a computer-generated design
plan (depending on the scale of your project), you can get it done—smartly,
correctly and with artistic flair.
Armed with a plan of attack and a solid list of plant material (by common and
botanical names) you will be able to work on your project in phases. With a well
thought out landscape design plan, you will avoid common (and sometimes
costly!) mistakes and work toward the landscape of your dreams. At least as far
as your budget allows!
This service is surprisingly affordable. The cost of the plan depends on the size of
your property and the complexity of what you want to achieve. You may only want a
rough sketch for beautifying a neglected side yard or you may want to turn your
entire back yard into an entertainment area. In the course of our consultation I will
help you prioritize your needs and desires. After seeing the site and determining
what you want I can then give you a price for a computer-generated landscape
design plan.

Give me a call and let's have a chat about it!
My design plans are super easy to follow. There will be many “callouts” which will
detail measurements, materials and plant species. If you need help, as your
consultant I can outline your course of action or help out onsite as the project
progresses. I can help you translate the plan onto the ground and lay out the space
with marker paint. We can arrange a shopping expedition for plants or materials. I
can come and “spot” all your plants onsite. And, you can always call me if you have
questions or need clarification. Most do-it-yourselfers do so because they can!
