There’s nothing like an informative garden consultation to kick start your
project or to resolve problems in an existing garden. As a Certified
Horticulturist as well as a Landscape Designer, I am uniquely qualified
to assist you in developing a well planned, beautiful and healthy garden.
As a Certified Horticulturist since 1990, I can identify and help to solve most
garden problems. After a thorough site analysis of your particular environmental
conditions, I will identify any garden health issues (pests, diseases, weeds, soil
conditions, etc.) and make recommendations for solutions.
Whether your existing landscape simply needs a little grooming and sprucing up or a complete renovation, I will suggest what needs to be done and what additional features and plantings will make your garden come alive.

As a Landscape Designer with over 20 years of experience, I can help
you determine how best to use your yard space and how to get the most
out of your budget. I’m a good listener and my “client interview” will target
detailed information about your needs, desires and preferences.
Whether you want to dress up a tired slope, repurpose a small side yard or you want a backyard entertainment space, we will discuss a variety of ideas and the best course of action. Working with my own design visualization tools, I am able to define the nature and style of the garden you wish to create.

For simple garden projects, I may sketch out a plan right on the
spot and make a plant list for you to take to your local nursery. I can
give you a crash course in irrigation methods and proper planting
techniques and that may be all that you need to get started.
More complex projects will likely require a landscape design plan. At that time, I will be able to give you an estimate for the cost of the landscape plan based upon the size of your property and the complexity of the project. The cost of the consultation will be applied toward the cost of the plan.
