Dining Dilemma: A Terrible View!
Problem: The family’s often-used dining room faces
into a small, unadorned side yard so they keep the
blinds closed all the time. The yard also doubles as the
dog run area. How very appetizing!
Solution: For a fabulous new view, I designed a peaceful Zen oasis with a pond and waterfall with a lush tropical planting and a “living patio”. A private space for doggie-business is hidden out of view behind a wall of bamboo. Much nicer! The side yard also doubles as an entertaining area and quiet retreat for humans.
